AIESEC Network Scholarships

Welcome Home Event Vodafone

"Shortly before November ended, Vodafone hosted their Welcome Home Event in Düsseldorf together with the Network Scholarships Participants of summer 2018.

We had the chance to get to know Lisanne & Emilie, who organized the whole event, and everyone else in the morning. Following the introduction, every scholar shared stories and experiences from the time abroad and the first connections between the impact of AIESEC's Global Volunteer program and Vodafone's vision and values could be seen.

After lunch, the participants had the chance to reflect upon their self-development and what influence the work in the social projects had on them. The day was concluded with a highly interesting company tour including lots of small details around Vodafone and its company culture. Furthermore, we had the chance to discover their various offers for students and graduates and how well these fit with our experiences from AIESEC.
